I am member 11009 of the International Bank Note Society. (IBNS) I have been a collector of British Notes for over ten years. I started selling surplus notes on Ebay and after several years I took the plunge to have my own site built. After a slow start it has become popular and I have clients from all over the world. I try to offer a good service to all buyers regardless of the price of any note. Each person deserves a just and professional service.
My interest in bank notes developed by chance when I bought a job lot at a postcard auction and found in a biscuit tin a small collection of British notes. I listed them for 99p only to find that amongst the notes was a B343a Somerset note with no signature. The collection sold for a tidy sum so I bought the ‘English Paper Money’ book to research the notes and from then on was hooked.
I worked in Mental Health for nearly forty years. Now retired, I still sit on the Tribunals, trying to do what is right (sub ratione boni) for those subject to the constraints of the Mental Health Act. Retirement is busy and my interest in banknotes still remains as keen as ever. Collecting banknotes is a fantastic hobby. I hope you will find in this service, prices that are fair and honest.
My notes are graded according to IBNS guidelines. I have always advised a full refund is made if buyers are not satisfied. My postage charges are fair. All GB post is free of charge and cost to me, Overseas post is Tracked with a charge of £9. This ensures the best security possible. I shall post worldwide. I always send the buyer the Tracking details of every overseas order.
Payment is by Pay Pal, cheque, or BACS.
Please contact me should you have any queries or wish to sell me notes. I am always willing to discuss the purchase of collections as well as offering advice on British banknote valuations.
