When I cycled to the Post Office yesterday I witnessed some silly and stupid driving: overtaking on a side road, pedestrians walking out in front of traffic, and another cyclist, clearly on drugs, cycling in the middle of the road, preventing cars from going past. Anyway, I arrived at the PO and posted the packages with no bother. Collecting banknotes is a great interest and unlike people taking unwise risks, we have a guide to the value of notes in the excellent ‘English Paper Money’ and ‘Paper Money of Scotland’. These books are essntial for all collectors and help us to understand not only the value of notes, but the history of banknotes.
