I posted some notes to Asia. It was a collection of low value notes, seven in total. I was told only four notes hade been in the package and that I needed to refund money. I contacted PayPal about this and hopefully the matter will pass. In all my years buying and selling notes I have been scammed three times in total. Some notes have gone ‘missing’ in the post but overall, most people are honest and genuine. The system, to a great degree operates on trust. I really hate it when people try to rip me off and it puts me off selling to some countries. Saying all this, I repeat the truth that 99% of buyers are honest people, with a love and interest in notes. Let’s stay trusting but in all walks of life, beware of the scammers.
