Losing British Banknotes and Finding my Wedding Ring

Over the past few weeks our house has been ‘upside down’ with a major refit of a bathroom. My office has been cluttered with towels, shampoo bottles and more during the renovation. Yesterday, the work was completed and all the bits of packaging and empty boxes were taken away to the Re-Cycling Centre by the Plumber(s). I found out later that a box of notes had ‘disappeared’ from the office and it seems this went to the Re-Cycling – containing a lovely £5 Peppiatt Branch note, and two UNC First Runs. To say it was a ‘disaster’ is an understatement. I was advised by the Recycling that all the packaging had been taken away for processing so goobye the notes. Devastated! Last night, when sorting out the bins I lost my wedding ring which had slipped off my finger. Searching for an hour we could not find it but this morning, a passer-by saw something glinting near the drain outside our house and wondered it it belonged to me. It was the golden ring….My Precious (a nod to Gollum!) so I was relieved as was my wife. Anyway, have a look at the site and hopefully you will find something ‘precious’ to build up your collection.
